Measurement Instructions
Please review these guidelines carefully before submitting your order.
Standard Radiator Covers (No Shelving or Side Storage)
To ensure proper airflow and ventilation for your radiator, it is important to add a minimum of 5cm to the width and depth of your radiator measurements. This additional space ensures that the cover fits properly while providing sufficient air circulation. Please note that the top shelf extends 1.5cm beyond each edge.
If your radiator is located in an alcove, near a door frame, or underneath a windowsill, please contact us with your measurements so we can offer guidance on the best way to proceed.
Keep in mind that our measurements reflect the external dimensions, and the MDF used in construction is 18mm thick. This thickness is already included in the 5cm allowance per side, so there is no need to add it separately.
Refer to the diagram below to ensure you include the necessary room for ventilation when selecting your cover measurements.
Skirting Board Measurements
Please measure both the height and depth of your skirting board in centimeters. This will help us ensure that the radiator cover fits flush against the wall. If you don’t require a skirting board cut-out, simply leave this option unselected.
Radiator Covers with Drawers Above
Follow the same measurement guidelines as outlined above for the width and depth, adding 5cm on each side for ventilation. For the height, include an additional 20cm above the radiator to account for the drawers. The 20cm includes the 5cm ventilation space, so no extra addition is necessary. Keep in mind that the top shelf will extend 1.5cm on each side.
Radiator Covers with Bookcase or Overhead Shelving
When measuring for a radiator cover with a bookcase or shelving above, add the same 5cm to the width and depth for ventilation. The height measurement should include the full height, including the bookcase or shelving. For accurate fit, we recommend adding your radiator’s internal measurements in the notes section. Remember, the top shelf overhangs 1.5cm on both sides.
Radiator Covers with Side Shelves or Shoe Storage
For radiator covers with side shelves or shoe storage, follow the same procedure by adding 5cm to the height and depth measurements. The width should reflect the total width, including the side shelves or shoe storage. Again, we recommend providing your radiator’s internal measurements in the notes section. As with other covers, the top shelf will have a 1.5cm overhang on each side.
